Welcome to my flower farm. I’m so happy to share my flowers and gardens with you.

What started as a small flower patch, soon became an obsession! I absolutely love growing flowers and using them to make beautiful bouquets for others to enjoy!

My farm is unique in that I use a seed to bouquet philosophy. I plant the seeds then nurture them from seedlings to mature plants. When they’re ready, I harvest their beautiful blooms to make my one-of-a kind bouquets.

From seed to bouquet, let me share my amazing flower journey with you!

Whether you’re here to learn more about my flowers, my gardens, to browse my gallery of beautiful bouquets and arrangements, buy a cool gift, to buy a bouquet subscription, or to order a bouquet, I hope you enjoy your visit here at the flower farm. I appreciate you stopping by.

The allure and beauty of flowers is like magic. Flowers can brighten our mood, lift our spirits and make us smile. They bring joy and happiness. They add beauty and life to a room. Their fragrance can invoke memories that transport us to a different time. They truly are a special gift from nature.

My story….

Hi. My name is Wendy and I grow gorgeous flowers on my small cut flower farm located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. I grow all the flowers in my beautiful bouquets which makes them one-of-a-kind. I use sustainable, all natural farming practices, and I love to share what I’ve learned.

I’ve always loved gardening. I started out growing vegetables. My cut flower craze started in 2021 during the covid crisis. I’ve always dreamed of a cut flower garden where I could create a beautiful bouquet any time of the year, spring through fall. I would buy grocery store bouquets and watch YouTube videos to learn how to arrange them. I also learned about mass cut flower production and all the chemicals they use throughout the process of getting them to the stores. I quickly realized I should start growing my own flowers. I cringe when I see people in the grocery store take a bouquet and inhale deeply to see how it smells. YIKES! If they only knew! So I started growing a small patch of cut flowers for myself, it quickly became an obsession, and in 2022 my flower farm was born!

You can find my bouquets at nearby businesses that I partner with, so they can offer my beautiful bouquets to their customers. I’d like to thank Beacon Farm Market, Black Buggy Bulk Market, and Hopewell Market. I’d also like to thank all the wonderful people who buy my bouquets. It means the world to me. THANK YOU for supporting my little flower farm!

I occasionally host Bouquet Bars where I provide you with a bucket of flowers, and you create something amazing to take home. Drop me a note if you’re interested in attending a Make Your Own Bouquet event.

The Flower Stand…..

The flower stand has taken on many forms over the years (photos below). After I started a small patch of cut flowers in 2021, my sister-in-law told me my flowers were gorgeous, and I should try to sell some bouquets. So I did, out of the back of my car. I only sold one bouquet, to my sister-in-law, but that started me on my flower farming journey. Thank you Jayne!

As much as I love my new flower cart, I’m having second thoughts about opening the roadside stand this year (2025) for a few reasons. First, it’s not good for flowers to be out in the hot weather. Their vase life decreases significantly the longer they’re in the heat. Second, although a lot of traffic goes by, it’s hard to get people to stop. I’m in a 55 mph speed zone. It’s not an area where people are leisurely cruising around looking at shops like they would in a downtown business district. And, I’ll admit, my signage isn’t great. And last, there’s a lot more theft than I had anticipated, and I have a really hard time dealing with that.

The Finger Lakes Region in New York

When some people hear New York, they may think of New York City. I live in the Finger Lakes Region, a gorgeous area that should be on everyone’s bucket list.

My Location…..the Finger Lakes Region

I could easily fill several pages gushing about how wonderful the Finger Lakes Region is, and how I am so very fortunate to have lived here my entire life. The lakes are breathtakingly beautiful, literally. You will stand there in awe, they’re that gorgeous! The lakes and surrounding hills were carved by glaciers! What?!? Yes, really!

There are 11 lakes in the Finger Lakes Region (see there names below) and there’s SO MUCH to do here - there’s boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing, hiking, concerts, bowling, water parks, zipline, water skiing, snow skiing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling…..just to name a few. We have award winning wineries, really cool micro breweries, and fantastic restaurants. You will love all the unique shops, museums, libraries, festivals, art galleries, farmers markets, and craft fairs.

We have some of the best artisans in the country. Whether their talent is working with leather, canvas and paints, wood working, or glass blowing, this area is known for quality crafts you won’t find anywhere else.
